Founder

A bit about yourself:

I’m a 23 year old marketing graduate from Auckland, New Zealand.
Misfit has been a project that has evolved from my humble beginnings of brewing some questionable homebrew while at University. Graduating in late 2015, I developed the company in the first half of 2016, before getting a corporate job at New Zealand’s largest brewery. 18 months later, I decided to leave this job, jumping into Misfit Brewing Co. full time, working to release our first range of beers in late 2018.

Work/Volunteer Experience?

Outside of the varying roles I play at Misfit Brewing Co, the only other work experience gained falls under the divisions of hospitality, sales and customer service.

What’s your ‘why’?

Currently passionate about social enterprise, and using business to push for societal and environmental change; so am happy applying myself to projects which align with this.

What skills do you have?

Marketing and communications, product development, branding and design, social media management, copywriting, sales, system and process innovation, ideation.

Are you happy to be contacted for volunteer/work opportunities or collaborations?

YES

We live in a country, where clean drinking water literally falls from the sky, and it’s up to us, those who have access to clean drinking water change the game for those who don’t. Our vision is to continue building this platform, in a manner where it is easy to fund and distribute water filters to communities which need them most. We use Sawyer Filters, a quick, easy, simple yet effective filtration system which can provide water for families without access.
