Welcome to Misfit. We are a team of creatives and square pegs set on inventing and pushing boundaries, with an uncompromising and meticulous approach to crafting the perfect beer. We are a New Zealand social enterprise brewing company, where we will be fighting to restore clean water sources in New Zealand and the wider Pacific, by donating all of our profits to the cause.
I’m a 23 year old marketing graduate from Auckland, New Zealand.
Misfit has been a project that has evolved from my humble beginnings of brewing some questionable homebrew while at University. Graduating in late 2015, I developed the company in the first half of 2016, before getting a corporate job at New Zealand’s largest brewery. 18 months later, I decided to leave this job, jumping into Misfit Brewing Co. full time, working to release our first range of beers in late 2018.
Recently, we received an email from Joan, Joan lives in ‘Good Enough Island’, which is located east off the Mainland of PNG, in Milne Bay Province. Due to being so remote, they have nothing. The school libraries have little books which are mainly out-dated and ruined. We have made getting a container to them our next project. Although, we need help.

Food For Change grows and rescues fresh nutritious food to feed those in need. The idea started in 2016 in Melbourne with the realisation that there was plenty of vacant land that could be farmed to provide quality fresh food to those in need. Since then we have set up our first major farm site and currently we are trilling our community garden growing program and local community food rescue program.
I founded Food For Change in 2016 and currently sit on the board as well as playing an active role in the roll out of our programs around Australia. Besides the work i do for Food for Change, my days are filled with looking after my son, hiking, cooking and trying to squeeze in as many adventures as possible!
